Music and Art Sessions Are a Success in Braintree

We are delighted to share the impact of our grant supporting the Musicmania and Art/Craft groups run by Braintree District Mencap CIO.

Our funding has

enabled 3 hours of support per class, per week, provision that is essential to sustaining these inclusive sessions for adults with a learning disability. We understand that without this support, the sessions would not be able to run.

Through creative expression and shared activities, individuals have strengthened their social skills, developed greater independence, and improved their mental wellbeing. The sessions provide a safe and welcoming space where participants can express their feelings, build friendships, and experience a strong sense of belonging.

We are pleased to have been able to support an initiative that not only delivers activities, but creates opportunity, inclusion, and lasting positive change.
