Supporting Play and Learning Across Ipswich

At The Tudwick Foundation, we are proud to support the Ipswich Community Playbus in its work to bring free play opportunities to preschool children and families in disadvantaged areas of Ipswich.

Known as “Dennis”, the converted double-decker bus visits six locations each week during term time, providing a welcoming space where children can learn, explore and develop through play. Activities include arts and crafts, sand play, books, puzzles and imaginative play.

The Playbus supports children's communication, confidence and social skills, while giving parents and carers opportunities to meet other families and build connections within their community.

We are delighted that our grant is helping the Playbus to reach communities where play facilities and family support services are limited. www.ipswichplaybus.co.uk.
